Harold,
Did you get a chance to look at the cygwin X-free FAQ? I've got a list
of things to be changed, which includes a lot of versioning style info.
How about the how-to focus on the mechanics of installing, perhaps
referencing the FAQ where extra information is needed? I;m suggesting this
so we minimise the number of duplicate explanations we end up with - to
minise our required maintenance efforts
